SHANGHAI 2020 Awards Winners

In 2020, facing the global pandemic, SURCAR launched successfully its 1st hybrid technical conference, hosted the face-to-face meeting in Shanghai and broadcasted the 2-day full congress for the international attendees. The Live Stream platform’s interaction functionalities helped all in-person and remote participants to exchange information simultaneously.

The hybrid format enabled presenters and participants to connect from China, Japan, South Korea, India, Vietnam, Germany, France, Italie, Belgium .. Nearly 450 online and onsite participants joined at the two-day conference, met and interacted with specialists and decision makers from the main Auto OEMS and suppliers.

50 Speakers from Major Car Manufacturers and from Paint Material and Equipment Supplier Companies

The 2-Day conference was composed of 4 Technical Sessions and Panel Discussions: 50 Speakers brought talks about “Market changes drive innovation in Paint and Process”.

Three Technical Presentations were rewarded by the SURCAR Asian Committee:

Shinya OTAKE, Project Manager of TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION, presented “Super High Transfer Efficiency Application for Body Coating” was rewarded as the Award for Innovation.
LEI Fengze, Vice President of Technical Planning of DURR System presented “Digital intelligence by Durr: OEE Improvement through digital products”was rewarded as the Award for Technique.
CHEN Yanan, Global segment manager, Mobility of PPG, won the Jury’s Awards.
